Purchasing Used Camera Equipment the Canon 1d mark iv

I've just purchased a used Canon 1d mark iv 2009 flagship dslr again, after I previous owned

another up until 2018. This has a 1.3x crop or (APS-H) sensor at 16.1 megapixels. Cost €539 from mpb.com which cost €6,000 new back in 2009. Its successor is the Canon EOS 1dx full frame 18 megapixels dslr which was released in 2012.

The image quality from this machine is excellent as I required it as a third camera for my wedding photogrphy along with capturing some wildlife using the Canon ef 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens.

Advantages:

Excellent image quality, well built, fast shutter @ 10 frames per second, brilliant in low light.

Disadvantages:

No touch screen, slightly heavy.

Canon 1d Mark IV

My update camera's are the Canon 6d mark ii and 5d mark iv which will probably last me for a number of years but the Canon 1d mark iv will last me a lifetime as it has a shutter lifespan of around 300,000, with this one showing me 110,000 when purchased. It was on sale as well used condition, but it looks more like in excellent condition as there is hardly a mark on the body.

If you're thinking of stepping up to full frame or fast shutter camera's with a small budget ? shop around at some of the earlier models from a reputable dealer. I won't be purchasing mirrorless camera's for the forseeable future as the equipment I currently possess is making me money and are in decent working order.
